REFUND POLICY

Wellbeing Initiative Admission (Cancellation & Refund) Policy

Policy:

Wellbeing Initiative Foundation will consider any request for cancellation of admission/withdrawal from studies if such a request is made in accordance with the prescribed Regulations. The Regulations will include the procedure for cancellation/withdrawal as well as the rules for refund.

Regulation:

  1. This Regulation will form part of the Admission Regulations of the Foundation and lays down the procedure for cancellation of admission and for refund of fees paid.
  2. Any student admitted to any of the courses offered by the Foundation may apply for cancellation of his/her admission and/or withdrawal from studies at any time during the academic year of admission or later.
  3. The application form for Cancellation/Withdrawal must be made in the prescribed form duly signed by the student and the parent.
  4. Application for cancellation of admission/withdrawal may be made either by presenting an application in person by the student or his/her authorized representative or by applying online on the Foundation’s website.
  5. Refunds may be considered only in respect of the Academic Course Fee. No refund shall be allowed in respect of the Application Fee and Admission Registration Fee.
  6. If a student, after joining a course, leaves it mid-session, the entire fee collected shall be forfeited.

Refund of Academic Course Fee with reference to the ‘Last date for Admission’:

Timeframe for Cancellation Deduction Refund
15 days or more prior to the last date of admission Lower of ₹5,000 OR 5% of course fee 100%
Less than 15 days prior to the last date of admission 10% of course fee 90%
15 days or less after the last date of admission 20% of course fee 80%
30 days or less but more than 15 days after admission 50% of course fee 50%
Beyond 30 days after admission 100% of course fee 0%

Note: Refund will be calculated on the full annual fee (without scholarship) for the academic session.

  1. The reason(s) for cancellation of admission/withdrawal will never be a factor for determining the amount of refund, although the Director may, at his/her discretion, approve refunds for higher amounts depending on the circumstances leading to such cancellation/withdrawal.
  2. If an applicant is admitted provisionally but later on does not satisfy the eligibility criteria, such an applicant will not be given any relaxation in the refund policy.
